Handling Kiln formed glass, like any other glass, should still be treated with care. When carrying the glass through a site it is best to walk the route first to ensure it is free from obstacles. As the glass will have an uneven surface on the smooth side glass, suckers cannot be used to carry the glass and the glass will have to be held from underneath. As most applications require the glass to be toughened, be wary of the corners and edges as these are the weak spots in the glass. If the glass is struck with enough force in these areas it is likely that the glass will break.
